Hi, I'm using Firefox 142 on Ubuntu 24.04. It's a fresh install. I cannot sign in icloud.com with Firefox even though it works with other browsers like Brave. I deleted all cookies and site data and disabled extensions (KeePassXC). It doesn't help. I tried in new private window. No success. I copy my password from a password manager, so, no, I haven't mistyped it.

Here's what I do:

1. Open Firefox and go to icloud.com
2. Click on the "Sign In" button
3. Enter my Apple-ID and click on the arrow on the right end of the "Email or Phone Number" field

At this point Brave behaves differently than Firefox. See below for how Brave behaves.

Firefox: -> A "Password" field appears (no buttons "Continue with Password" and "Sign in with Passkey")

1. Enter my password and click on the arrow on the right end of the "Password" field

-> Error message "Failed to verify your identity. Try again" appears. See icloud.png

Brave: -> Two buttons "Continue with Password" and "Sign in with Passkey" appear. See icloud-with-brave.png

1. Click on button "Continue with Password"

-> A "Password" field appears.

1. Enter my password and click on the arrow on the right end of the "Password" field

-> 2FA code is sent to my iPhone -> "Two-Factor Authentication" form opens... etc. complete sign in successfully

Unfortunately I cannot attach the HAR file from the login sequence because the password is included. However, I attached some screenshots from the Web Developer Tools. It seems to me that the login flow with Firefox is broken. I can't tell who's to blame, Apple of Firefox. The error message with Firefox is always the same, no matter whether I enter the correct password or rubbish. In Brave, however, there is a more precise error message when I enter a bad password. Mozilla Firefox began to crash all the time; crashes happen almost every ten minutes, and it happens with every site. It still lasts about for several weeks. I tried to reinstall Firefox; I updated my drivers for my computer; I cleared cash and history in the settings; I tried to delete some files from Firefox's folder. All these things did not help. The crashes may happen with any site, and it can happen any time. I have no problem with memory shortage. My system consists of Ryzen 7 5800x, Radeon RX 7800 XT and G.Skill Flare X (for AMD) DDR4 2x16Gb.

All of a sudden all of my photos in all of my photo files have only your stupid logo on them... I can't see the files let alone any of the photos. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOUR DAMNED BROWSER AND HOW DID IT EFFECT ALL OF MY PHOTO FILES?

I have 3 different profiles on my Desktop Firefox, and I'm able to change between them and even set some commands on CLI to switch between them easily, opening one or another.

Now, my question is: How can I do such a thing on mobile? I only linked my main account, and as far as I understood, I cannot link to multiple and switch on demand. Is there any way? Am I missing something?

I checked the tutorial on how to setup profiles and the profile manager doesn't seem to exist on mobile.

Depuis la dernière mise à jour, Firefox me demande le mot de passe principal à chaque ouverture de Firefox. Je ferme ou j'annule et ça marche sans avoir à renseigner mon mot de passe principal. (c'est agaçant !!) La procédure préconisée par Firefox (menu-paramètres-vie privée et sécurité-identifiants et mots de passe-décocher la case à côté d'utiliser un mot de passe principal....... ) ne change rien. Merci

i just want to be able to add drag space to the top of my browser so i can move the window easily while it's maximized. i have been unable to find the customization section of firefox options and there is also no place on this website to speak to an actual member of support staff. this should be simple

I am having issues disabling picture-in-picture mode, even though I have disabled it in my settings.

The settings regarding picture-in-picture mode (in general) and the Firefox Labs' "Picture-in-Picture: auto-open on tab switch" do not seem to work. I am disabled and re-enabled these settings multiple times, though picture-in-picture mode still auto-opens on tab switch. I have restarted my computer and Firefox multiple times.

Please advise on potential solutions. Thank you!

As of 7/10/2025, Xfinity Streaming does not open through Firefox. I much prefer Firefox to any other browser so I am a little mystified as to why all of a sudden Xfinity Streaming does not open. I receive my Comcast email through FireFox but when it comes to streaming content, the Xfinity logo just sits there and does not open.
