no matter what i do, every website is now dark. I want it turned off and it won't. Since this can't be turned off, how do i switch all my bookmarks to another browser? Chrome, yahoo, etc all of those don't have the dark background

Hi, apologies I'm not very computer-literate, but my gmail has stopped allowing attachments such as images or files (just keeps saying attachments failed). I cleared a lot of old (large) emails from my email account and freed up a lot of space - but I still can't add attachments. I've checked Firefox and it's up to date - as are my ad blockers. Is there something else I can do like deleting Firefox and then reinstalling it to see if this helps - the problem is definitely when using Firefox (and not Chrome) as my browser.

Last night I was using Firefox normally when it abruptly closed all windows and turned off. I turned it back on again. It told me it could not restore the tabs, so I started a new session. Firefox behaved normally, went to the sites I asked, and in approximately two minutes, did the same thing. Simply closed as if I had closed it. Turn it back on. It says it cannot restore previous tabs. It will come on, go to requested site, operate normally for a very short time, then close without warning. Made sure I had the latest version of Firefox. I do. Have tried hard restart, turn computer off, turn it back on. Same. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox. Behaves the same on reinstall. Says it cannot restore tabs. Start new session. Brief period of normal behavior, then all windows close as if turned off. Does not matter what the site is I go to.

Please note that I am an older autistic person who is very computer illiterate and is extremely distressed by these events. Please bear with me and please be patient with me.

There is no option to automatically update.

I have downloaded this zip file - firefox-130.0(1).tar.bz2

QUESTION - How do I instal the update  ? - or can I not with my system - as below

Xtra-PC - Turbo 32 × 1 (purchased 2019)

Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS

Running on 2010 Acer 4741G computer. 4Gb RAM Intel i5 2.27Ghz

When I login to my Virgin Mobile Canada account (at https://www.virginplus.ca/myAccount/logon-smart.do), it displays the error:

Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. The URL for the error message starts with https://www.ges.bell.ca/siteminderagent/SmMakeCookie.ccc?SMSESSION=

After getting the error, when I got back to https://myaccount.virginplus.ca/, I find that I am logged in. Also, I do not get this error with Edge.

I am using a primary password. However the password is required when I open Firefox as well as for password protected websites I visit. Is there a way to not have to put in the primary password every time I open Firefox? I feel duplicate protection is unnecessary and time consuming.

How do I get rid of this? Please be specific.

When I open up the Add-ons Manager it shows Window Titler is turned on. But Ctrl-Alt-T no longer works, there is no button showing for it, and it seems to be gone. A button for it does not appear in Customize Toolbar. It is the single most important reason I stay with Firefox. How do I get it to work again? Thoughts appreciated.

I recently had to reset my Windows operating system. After reinstalling Mozilla Firefox, I attempted to sign in to my Firefox account. Unfortunately, I had forgotten my password and had to reset it. Although I successfully signed in after resetting my password, none of my previously synchronized data, including passwords and bookmarks, appeared.

I had performed a synchronization before the reset, so I expected my data to be restored upon signing in. However, this did not happen, and I am now unable to access my important passwords and bookmarks. Could you please assist me in recovering my data? I have been a firefox user for 5 years now and i gave my laptop to repair and it was fixed with an ssd (HP NVMe SSD) to better performance and more speed and efficiency but in the process he rebooted and restarted the pc and now all my data is not there , i have some very important webpages and bookmarks in my firefox browser, i had signed in synced and done everything so that i get the data if something like this happens , however and only 3 or 4 bookmarks were imported and all the search history is gone and new even though i signed in with all my accounts and synced and tried to get the data , i remember that i did everything properly to sync and store the account data,search history,bookmarks and password s and now i am not able to get it and i tried doing it with all accounts i had logged in firefox.how do i get my search history,bookmarks,saved passwords back please tell?

Since version 122 there is a problem with installing the Szafir SDK Web extension. It is necessary to be able to submit signatures online. After installing version 121, I was able to add the extension. After updating Firefox to version 130, the Szafir SDK Web extension still works, wich is good. The problem is that not everyone will handle it this way.

I tried adding the extension manually, but the same message is always returned. "The add-on cannot be installed because it appears corrupted."

Is there any solution to this problem?

I have a new computer that I want to sync my bookmarks to. I don't remember my password or recovery key (if I have one). I don't want to lose my bookmarks. How can I save them if my account gets reset and they are deleted?
