This isn't a feature I ever needed or ever wanted. More than often, I accidentally group two or more tabs and have no idea how to ungroup them (yes, I know, there's some about:studies where I can remove stuff from grouped, BUT it's not a good mitigation). Firefox has been a great browser for decades. This new "feature" is rather disturbing than helpful. I understand some folks might need it, but please, at least provide a way to OPT OUT. Thank you!

I use Tab Groups quite frequently. I am not a fan of the new functionality built into it.

So now if I close a group, one tab within that group will stay open if I was just on the page. It will not close until I go to another page and click close on the tab group again. Frustrating! Why cant I just open and close as usual?

Is there a way to get rid of this feature and still keep tab groups?

Why hasn't firefox 147.0.4 updated to firefox 148 ? The computer is windows 10 home 64 bit that is enrolled in extended security updates. The update has been released a few days ago I believe, in Canada,also I;m wondering if there is a button that is available in "about:config" that forces a update check. Thanks James

I am getting repeated pop up "alerts" from Firefox, McAfee and others about Trojan Horse and other viruses. I did not click on the links offered. How do I stop them from coming?

When syncing my account between browsers on other computers Tab Groups do not sync. I have to rebuild Groups in each browser. Also the Groups do not sync. I would like to see colors, tabs and positions sync throughout all browsers.

With the "Drag & DropZones" mode of the "Selected Text Searchers" extension, one can highlight some text on the page and then "drag" it, whereupon a screen of defined search engines appear as an overlay on the page, allowing for "dropping" of the text on top of any of the search engines, initiating using that search engine to search for the highlighted text. This stops working after 148.0: the search engines overlay does not come up, replaced with only the non-working icon on the mouse cursor.

I signed up for a free trial of PC tuneup on Aol. After I ran Pc Tuneup I was logged out of FireFox. I signed back into FireFox, but all of my Internet shortcuts and bookmarks will not work.

Again Firefox? Again? Third time the charm or something? Stop this ridiculous handoff from Search bar in page to URL bar for searches. It's not safe, helpful, or anything other than confusing. Give us the Option. Seriously, it is why we use FF in the first place, Despite tons of companies not supporting it well for website access. Suddenly I cannot search from the search bar. It defaults to the address bar. why "fix" something that was not broken. Being forced to use the address bar is frustrating. If you go directly to the address bar, it tells you it cannot find that site.
