I am facing problem with some sites when accessing. usually with two sites 1. ICICI login page:- almost 5-6/10 times it says insecure content on page. 2. Last acknowledge page of airtel recharge after transection. (allways have insecure content).

But all the above sites are working fine on Google chrome without any error.

Hi,

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

If you want a secure HTTPS connection then Firefox is more strict in informing that a web page has elements that come from an insecure HTTP connection. Other browsers may not show a warning and display the page. Firefox can show a pop-up warning if the security.warn_viewing_mixed pref is true and doesn't show the normal icon (Site Identity Button) on the location bar in such a case. Future Firefox versions will have the possibility to suppress such content although this may lead to web page not working properly.

There is not much that you can do apart from contacting the site to inform them of the presence of insecure content.
In many cases this is caused by third-party (ad) images that you can see in the Tools > Page Info > Media window as http:// links.

Accessing YouTube via a secure connection (https://www.youtube.com) is an example.
