In the past week or so, for reasons not clear to me, Firefox does not open new links after the first one; it used to open new links into new tabs (according to my preference) without problems in the past. Now it does not even blink.

Over time I have added new apps and removed others, and, of course, I cannot rule out their role in the problem I'm having now. I would greatly appreciate any help to solving this problem.

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?

Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."

Thanks ever so much, the problem was resolved after starting Firefox in the Safe Mode. Now I am not sure whether the problem will recur when i restart Firefox in the normal way!
