Hi,
I am a long time user of Thunderbird. Very satisfied with the email client. I clicked the link on the "Help Keep Thunderbird Alive" page to donate to Thunderbird. As of right now I have not donated. Why? I don't mind you asking for my email address. But I am not inclined to give my name and address and all that. Please simplify your donation procedure and Ill be glad to donate to support Thunderbird.

Why do you need my address in order to process a gift? We understand that your privacy is very important. We ask for a minimum amount of information required to process credit card payments, including billing addresses. This allows our payment processor to verify your identity, process your payment, and prevent fraudulent charges to your credit card.
