I am trying to sign into my bank accounts per usual this week and am encountering the above issue. I feel like I have tried everything. I can sign into the account on Safari, Microsoft Edge, or the on phone app just fine. I did not have this issue last week. To date I have tried: 1. Clearing cookies and cache 2. Forgetting the website 3. Turning off all addons/plugins 4. Changing theme 5. Uninstalling and reinstalling FireFox 6. Refreshing FireFox 7. Turning off fingerprinting 8. I do not use a VPN 9. Tried using incognito mode 10. Tried using safe mode

Please help. This is so frustrating. It is not on the bank's end as others can sign into their account just fine from Mozilla Firefox. It is not a computer issue, because I cannot sign in on either my laptop or my computer. I do have my browsers synced across machines, but I have tried logging out and signing in again to no avail.

Chosen solution

When you refreshed your profile, did you stay signed out of your sync account when testing?

Do a search for the site instead of relying on bookmarks in case the address has changed.

Try changing DNS over HTTPS (DoH) to "Off" or "Max Protection" and in Connection Settings change "Use system proxy settings" to "No proxy".

What url are you using? Who is the bank? Post a full browser screenshot showing the issue and block any personal info.

I don't know if this is what fixed the problem or if it just worked out on its own somehow. I signed out, turned off the DNS, and was able to sign in. After that I turned it back on, and was able to sign in still. After that I logged back into my sync account, and was still able to sign in.

Again, nothing changed (really), but the problem is solved. Thank you for your time and solution provided.
