Everything on my online bank website works fine except displaying my beneficiaries. It doesn't just fail, it tells me I don't have any beneficiaries. This function works fine on my backup computer using versions 16, 32, and 35.

This is what my bank says: There have been some issues with Firefox's Compatibility to view beneficiaries online. Please try these steps to clear the cache and remove cookies. If there is still a problem, start Firefox in Safe Mode. While you are in safe mode, press the <Alt> or <F10> key to bring up the tool bar. Then select Tools > Options > Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Starting in safe mode does fix the trouble but that's a bit of a pain. A refresh or reset seems a bit drastic and I'd like to know exactly what the problem is before using the shotgun approach.

Thanks

Thanks for the replies. I did try disabling hardware acceleration but probably didn't log in fresh. My only add-on is adblock edge and I disabled it for the site. The thing is, I don't want to disable either of these items. I will just start firefox in safe mode if I need to access my beneficiaries. I was hoping someone may know of something that is bad in my profile that has carried over from previous versions or some other sort of corruption. It seems weird that an entire site could work fine with hardware acceleration but not this one item.

Hi m1key2, If its working in Safe Mode it means that it could be hardware acceleration, an add on or a feature in Firefox.

If you changed the hardware acceleration feature, restart firefox and login to the site with a fresh login for the setting to take affect.

If there are any add ons, please disable them one by one until the issue goes away.

Hello m1key2, guigs2

to add something in correct guigs2's reply above, in firefox safe mode hardware acceleration and extensions are disabled. If you follow guigs2's steps then definitely the issue can be solved.

thank you
