What email provider? Are you sure this isn't email provider issue then a Browser issue.

Did you try Firefox in Safe Mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode#search104 Is there a reason for the old version of Firefox?
