Hi,

I noticed when dismissing any and all calendar event with Thunderbird I'm always presented with a "Item Changed on Server" dialog.

It asks me to "Submit my changes anyway" (even though I've made no changes) or to "Discard my changes and reload"

It doesn't occur on any other app that I use to receive calendar notifications, it should just dismiss when I click dismiss from the initial alert.

Is there something I've missed in the set up or a work around to prevent this dialogue to pop up when I "dismiss" a calendar notification?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dave

This happens for me when an event has been modified in some way using e.g. a different instance of Thunderbird on a different computer. I then choose "Discard my changes and reload".

When I click "Discard my changes and reload" (or the other button), the dialog is shown again. I cannot even quit Thunderbird, I need to send it the SIGKILL signal via command line.

This only happens on Linux Ubuntu 20.04, I can work without issue on the other two Thunderbird instances running on Windows 10 and Mac OS Monterey.
