Seemingly impossible to add new gmail account on Windows
I am trying to add a new gmail account to Thunderbird but when I enter my address and password, a pop up appears in which I need to enter mail address at google. I do this, but it seems to just re-prompt me.
I have attached images of the steps taken to try to add the gmail account:
tb1.png: I enter name, address, password. tb2.png: TB validates this and adds some server info. tb3.png: a popup opens and my address is pre entered. I click the blue button. tb4.png: I am reprompted for my email address. I can enter my address again and again and click blue button but I am re prompted every time. Seems impossible to proceed from here.
If I can open this pop URL in a proper browser to inspect what is going wrong, I could probably fix this issue. However, TB will not let me copy the URL from the address bar which is frankly user hostile behavior :(
I have tried doing this on several different internet connections as well as tried disabling pihole, etc. So that does not seem to be the cause.

Thank you very much. This did indeed solve the problem. I wonder why TB would not just tell the user that those type of cookies are required for the login process to work and then also offer to add the exception for the user.
