I had to reinstall Thunderbird for reasons that aren't applicable. I set up my email account as previously. When I was asked for local folders, I browsed to my my previous location. To my dismay, all of my emails and addresses were not restored. What did show up in the Local Folders list are all of the files in the folder, such as " abook.sqlite". When I looked at the Local Folders menu in the Troubleshooting mode, it said that it wasn't associated with any account, which I presume is the reason for the missing items. How do I correct this?

Please share more info on what you restored, e.g., folders, files, etc. It seems you did not restore the full profile but components of it. Possibly, a screenshot of your profile contents and of your local folders may prove helpful.
