I've had problems with Yahoo mail, my "Sent" folder was deleted. They restored this, but now in Thunderbird I get this message:- Current operation on "Sent" did not succeed, The mail Server responded unavailable. But I can send mails, it's just annoying. So how do I stop the message?

Hi Total guess here, but as nobody seems to have an answer... Just in case the problem is with one of, or several of, the messages that existed and were restored by Yahoo when the original glitch occurred, and it pops up each time Thunderbird and Yahoo try to sync the sent folder... Could you try moving the older sent messages to a subfolder in Yahoo, or to an archive folder, or a local folder on Thunderbird that does not sync with Yahoo online? I'm hoping you have not accumulated many thousands of sent messages. Appreciate your patience and persistence! Agnes

DONE IT, WITH YOUR HELP Had a thought over night. The task of moving all T.Bird mail to "Archive" was completed & the T.Bird "Sent" Folder empty. But I was still getting the error Message, why? So I went to my BT mail Account & checked the "Sent" folder & found that there were still 37 mails in the "Sent" folder. For some reason they were not showing in T.Bird. So I moved these to "Archive" in the BT mail. Sent a mail to myself on T.Bird. Checked T. Bird "Sent" folder. The mail from myself was there but no error message. So many thanks to Agnes/Toad- Hall!

PS Have just noticed that the Error Message now comes up when I go into the "Archive" Folder that I populated with the 37 mails I found in the BT Mail "Sent" Folder. But who cares don't think I will look at this much

Hi I'm glad that worked. The error appearing when you access the Archive seems to confirm it is likely one or several messages that cause the error, which you have now moved to a place where you can ignore it. Interesting that it seems to have reappeared, related to a recent email, not those older ones that were restored. I do hope that it stays away from "sent". Agnes
