I want to access my email on my phone and it requires my password for my email account. I do not know what it is.

There is no such thing as a Thunderbird account so there is no password for Thunderbird. You have an account with an email provider and the password is administered with them.

You obviously told Thunderbird to remember the email password since you do not know what it is and seem to be getting your messages.

Go to options-security-passwords-saved passwords and see what you saved there.

If that does not work for you contact your provider.
