Why is the tools>import 2nd screen from field blank?

Trying to use the Thunderbird import function (from yahoo mail) under Tools. After selecting ALL on the first screen the second screen shows import options selected followed by "from:(blank)". The only option at the bottom that is clickable is Cancel. Does this function not work and if so what is the alternative? Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Chosen solution

The import function only works for other email programs already installed on the same PC, and in the case of yahoo, it's usually recommended to set up the account as IMAP, and import the contacts from whatever format can be exported from yahoo.

The import function only works for other email programs already installed on the same PC, and in the case of yahoo, it's usually recommended to set up the account as IMAP, and import the contacts from whatever format can be exported from yahoo.
