Right mouse button- "Save Image As..." "v" is underscored- how to use?

more options

I'm using Windows Vista. I frequently save images to my disk, using the right mouse button. The command is- "Save Image As..." The "v" in "Save" is underscored. I know just enough to know that means there should be a keyboard shortcut using the "v"key. However, I have not been able to discover what the shortcut is. Cntr-v and Alt-v do not work (for me?). Does anyone know if there is a working shortcut? Thanks, I have arthritis in my fingers and this would be helpful.

Chosen solution

After you right-click, press v without any modifying keys to activate that item on the menu (assuming it doesn't conflict with any other items on the menu). This is similar to how the drop-down menus work: once the menu is displayed, you don't need a modifier key.

Thinking out loud, I don't think it's possible to have a direct keyboard shortcut to save an image. While you can use the tab key to select a link in the page, I can't think of any way to select a specific image so that Firefox would know what to do with a keyboard shortcut.

Note that you can also save images via the "Tools > Page Info > Media" window.

Thank you so much. I can't believe I never thought of trying that. I am an old FORTRAN application programmer (took a course in FORTRAN II in 1964) who did some interactive programming towards the end of my career (mostly X), so I seldom think of the simple, obvious answer. So thanks again.
