I am trying to finish installing adobe flash player update. I have windows 10 & keep getting message to close firefox. not open. help!

I have opened and closed EVERYTHING possible that is firefox. Pandora, facebook... everytime I click continue on flash player, it gets to 55% then says to close Mozilla firefox then click continue... I don't know what else to close. when My cursor goes over the icon at the bottom of the screen, NOTHING appears... is the problem with adobe????? I'm 65 and no whiz kid. I get by but I'm about to really FREAK OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
