thunderbird worked perfectly on 9/3. This morning suddenly I cannot send email. The message is: An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Authentication is required before sending [R0107005]. Please verify that your email address is correct in your Mail preferences and try again.

I made no changes between 9/3 and 9/4

any help appreciated, have been using Thunderbird for many years.

problem solved. an update thunderbird message showed up, did update and now works. WOW!

problem solved. an update thunderbird message showed up, did update and now works. WOW!
