I have x6 gmail accounts set up on my Thunderbird pop mail. When ever I try and send ANY email from 2 of these accounts (fxxxxxxxxxxo@gmail.com & fxxxxxxxxxxxxxl@gmail.com) a window pops up and says the following:

Enter your password for bxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxe@gmail.com on smtp.googlemail.com

I haven't had that email address for a couple years, and I've tried every password I've ever used with no luck.

I eventually have to hit cancel, the a new error box pops up that says the following:

Sending of message failed. An error occurred sending mail: Could not get password for smtp.googlemail.com. The message was not sent.

PLEASE PLEASE help, I need these two address to work. Every other address (x4) through Thunerbird works.

Thank you for your time and support.

Chosen solution

Sounds like you need to do some cleanup on your SMTP server settings.

From the Menu Bar select Tools-Account Settings-Outgoing Server (SMTP)

No menu bar? Press the alt key.

Remove the old server and add the correct ones for your 2 problem accounts.

Are you trying to send an email from "bxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxe@gmail.com" this address??

Check your Thunderbird Account Settings and SMTP

Thank you for your help, but I have no idea what an STMP is, nor how to make the changes you are suggesting. Can you help with that please?

No, the bxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxe@gmail.com has been permanently deactivated for over a year now. I have no idea why it's even asking me for this password.

You get the SMTP server settings from your email provider and enter them on the screen I referenced above. You need to delete the old remaining entry for your old email account so it is not used anymore.
