I had an organized list in the left side of all if the links to pay bills. or other categories It was easy and it worked. Now apparently you have taken that away,. I HATER THIS NEW FIREFOX!!!!

I clicked on the bookmarks icon to open one up, and there's nothing there. where did my bookmarks go? It's been a week, maybe, since I last used the bookmarks menu

Previously I'd click on STAR symbol (Edit this Bookmark) on Bookmark Toolbar, then under Location choose folder I wish, click Save and the new URL would go to that folder. Now it will not. I have to go to Recently Bookmarked and left click and drag it to the folder I wish. Above in Manage Bookmarks it is in there. Show Editor when Saving is checked. What settings do I need to change to return the the simple way of saving? Went to Trouble Shooting Page, Cleared the Cache, but too much lost if I refresh. don't understand Text or Raw Data. I only have a couple of apps, but what to do to save them?

When I try to save a new URL, Web Page, by clicking on the "Star" on the tool bar menu, then selection my existing folder for my chosen location it is not saved, at least most of the time. It is however saved under Recently Bookmarked and is also in Manage Bookmarks. I can force it to save by selecting Bookmarks Menu. It then is at the bottom of all my saved folder. I then can copy and paste into my folder of choice. What do I need to do to make it save to the folder of choice immediately?

Hundreds, if not thousands, or perhaps millions, would like to see bookmarks actually work as the do with other browsers. What is the problem, you update Firefox sometimes daily, but bookmarks, never. Should I change my browser? As it says that Firefox will do that, yes every place you visit that is not what I want. I guess it's time to try Safari or Chrome? What do think? Stay stuck in past, is that your option?

Today's update (version 154.0, 18 Aug 2026), degraded the appearance of a bookmark menu that contains both left-to-right and right-to-left text.

I have bookmarks in both English and Hebrew text. When a bookmark menu contains both kinds, all of them used to be left-aligned, which made for a tight, easy-to-read. menu. But as of this version, the R2L text is right-aligned, so if the whole menu is a bit wide, there is a lot of empty space. See screenshot.

Also, the next-to-last line in the screenshot, the numbers to the LEFT of the text, not right.

Pri vytvorení adresára v lište s odkazmi na web stránky sa adresár vytvorí na konci zoznamu. 1, nieje spôsob ako určiť poradie v zozname kde sú adresáre aj odkazy. Adresáre by sa mali automaticky radiť ako v stromovej štruktúre pc teda prve v poradí a za nimi voľné odkazy na weby. Adresáre majú nadradenú funkciu.Tvoria skupinu pre odkazy na stránky s podobným obsahom. Preto by mali byť pri vytvorení adresára radené na začiatok zoznamu a nie na konci. Pri 1000 odkazoch na stránky je to dlhý zoznam kým ho nájdem na konci aby som urobil drag and drop a preniesol na lištu z odkazmi do viditeľnej časti na browseri. Môže to niekto opraviť? Táto možnosť radenia adresárov nieje. Iba radenie odkazov podľa abecedy v zozname alebo iné možnosti na jednej úrovni pre všetky súbory. Ocenil by som radenie podľa typu teda adresáre spolu a odkazy spolu,či budú na začiatku alebo na konci teda poradie, a možnosť abecedného radenia pri zachovaní Typu súborov. Adresáre by mohli mať aj priradenú farbu. Ďakujem

How do I make "other bookmarks" show up on the bookmarks menu? (Not the toolbar, thanks).

Basically for me, the bookmarks toolbar is just too much valuable real estate in the window. I keep it turned off. Until a year or two ago I could access "other bookmarks" in the bookmarks menu -- in fact I still can at my wife's home computer. (Oddly, she keeps the bookmarks toolbar turned on, so if I needed to get to other bookmarks at home it wouldn't be much trouble anyway.) I've hunted around on the internet and found nothing but advice on how to use "other bookmarks" on the toolbar, which is what I'm trying to avoid. A helpful AI (hahahahaha) suggested that turning the "OB" off on the toolbar would leave me "still" able to access them on the menu, but that didn't change anything on the menu.

Windows 10 Home, version 22H2, Firefox 148.0.2 (64 bit), old i5 cpu, 16GB RAM, mother's shoe size 8A, never been to a Phish concert but talked and talked and talked to Johnny and Jesse Clegg once after a midnight show.

Yesterday morning when I pulled up my firefox browser all my bookmarks had disappeared from the bar, from the list and from my home page. I have tried to re-add the bookmarks and it will not save them. Please help!
