I rely on Firefox's auto-fill functionality, so turning it off is not an option for me. Frequently, on secure sites where I am registering or making a purchase, and after I have already filled the form data saved, the fill form banner at the bottom of page remains, blocking the form 'Submit', 'Continue', 'Next', etc. It doesn't happen all the time, so assume this has to do with how the form-fill control interacts with page coding. Is there a workaround for this that does not involve turning auto-fill off?

This has happened a couple times now and it's becoming a bother. When I'm completing form data online a box will appear at the bottom of the screen offering me to select an address fill address. The problem is I see no way to dismiss this screen and it frequently covers up the submit button or some other relevant control. The screenshot will explain this better.

Hi, I have Firefox for Android running on my Samsung Galaxy S23 and the windows version on my PC. Both are logged in to the same Firefox account and are syncing fine. On my PC, the password manager is working as expected and autofilling website passwords.

However, on my phone, I can't seem to get the autofill to work. I have been needing to go into the password manager and copy the password every time. It will ask to save the password and the password manager has everything stored as expected. Tried various things like logging in and logging out but nothing has fixed it. I did notice that Samsung Pass often pops up during the website login process and was wondering if this could be the reason Firefox password manager is not working for autofill.

Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I have been unable to use autofill for credit/debit cards for months now. It simply does nothing after I choose the card and successfully authenticate biometrics.

I have tried removing and reading cards. I have tried switching from beta to regular (I'm on a note 9). At a total loss and this is super frustrating. I am 100% sure autofill, sync, and remember cards are on.

I was unable to find this issue online or on the forums, so wanted to see if anyone can help

-using FF for Android (latest official release) and 1password (latest release). 1password is selected as default password manager and I have disabled prompts for FF to manage and autofill passwords

-when visiting a site with a linked password, the 1password field comes up to fill the saved password, but after clicking, FF brings up a warning:

Fill anyway 1password can't verify the app or website should have access to your XXXXXX login.

Cancel Fill once

Clicking fill once will fill the password correctly most of the time, but this behavior didn't occur previously. Previously, the password would be filled without the extra Firefox prompt.

What I've tried and noticed -removing and reinstalling both FF and 1password, and clearing cache for both -changing default password manager to none and then back to 1password -occurs in regular mobile and "desktop" modes -started occurring maybe in the last month or so, and beforehand this wasn't a problem.

-this problem doesn't occur with other browsers -in the autofill section of FF, the "autofill in other apps" slider is set to off, and there is no way I can slide it on, however when I click on it, it shows that the default android password manager is 1password

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I use the Ghostery addon on my laptop and it works great. On my tablet it doesn't work at all. Is it possible to simply use extensions in Firefox on my tablet? For some reason I installed the separate Ghostery app on the tablet, and it doesn't work. Will it work as an addon - does that work in Firefox on Android? The ads when streaming movies is so annoying. Please tell me how to block on tablet/Firefox.
