I have firefox on my home computer, and I finally got the school to allow me to use firefox on the school computer, but when I signed in with the same account, and turned on sync, nothing has changed. All the bookmarks and extensions and stuff is all still the same thing. I even pressed the sync now button, and still nothing happens. Am I doing this wrong? Does anyone know things I should check?

Firefox is continuously uploading or backing up then deleting it and then backing it up again over and over I am on a metered connection this is destroying me please help

i have 4 computers and 1 Apple phone that all have Firefox installed. I used to be able to sync all of them with no problem but now it seems it has become extremely difficult and I can't seem to be able to do it as easy any more. My main computer gives me a QR code to scan on my mobile phone but the directions are not clear as to whether I should use my QR reader app or my mobile phone camera. i have not been able to sync my devices because I am having issues signing into my Firefox app on my mobile device. i am just about ready to scrap Firefox on all my devices and start using another browser as it's gotten more difficult to use Firefox. And I would like my old layout for my Windows 11 computer. i do not like the new layout.

Recently I am facing this weird issue where every time I open FireFox, all my previous tabs are gone and it starts with a fresh window.

This happens even after the Account Syncing is turned ON under "Accounts And Sync" and "Open previous windows and tabs" is checked under the "Home and Startup" settings.

Hope someone can help me out as it is very frustrating to open the same tabs again and again!

Hello, I've been using the browser on my PC for a long time and I liked it. But I went into the browser from my laptop and everything was deleted from the PC; restoring it using backup folders did not help. The question is, why should I now suffer because for some reason all my tabs have been deleted?????

Sync feature is not working at all, I signed my account on different PCs to have my history synced across all devices but it is like for nothing, every time I log my account into a new PC to have the search history of the last device nothing gets synced, I wait like for an eternity and nothing there, restart and nothing works.

My payment info is synced across multiple devices (desktop and Android) except for one device - so I added a card manually. Now I have two of the same card across all the other devices. How do I recalibrate this so everything is in sync?

I am trying to sync my account from my Mac to my phone but it's asking for the code from my authenticator. I do not have Mozilla set up in my authenticator. How do I get the scan?

I synced the wrong Firefox profile to mY Mozilla account. I hence deleted the account to get a reset. But now I can't sync any more, because I get the message: your profile was previously synced to a different account, create a new profile. How can I activate sync again?

A colleague of mine had Firefox logged in with a Mozilla account, before their computer needed to be reset, we checked and Firefox said Synchronisation was on and last succeeded 1 second ago. We proceeded to undertake the reset, but after logging back into the same Mozilla account, none of the bookmarks returned, nor did any saved addresses, passwords or browser history.

I was wondering if there is absolutely anything that we can do, or whether someone at Mozilla are able to check the account just in case?

I'm fearing the worst, and partially expecting it, but wanted to log here for sanity's sake, just in case.

I added Firefox to my new laptop and needed to reset my password to login. I recognize a few of my old bookmarks at the top but all of my passwords and login information is gone and none of my old devices are showing up. I have never encountered this issue before, please help.

Stop with the codes since I am logged in on both devices. Used Firefox for years and years. You are about to lose a loyal client I think I've put in codes/ passwords in 4 different places just to sync my laptop and phone.

HI All Recently purchased a laptop and want to have FF sync with my desk top. I am signed in to both devices with the same account and have checked all settings on both and they are identical. Why are they not syncing?

After Firefox upgraded to the latest version, Google no longer opens up, bookmarked websites no longer have my username, password, or login account info, and do not recognize my account. Syncing caused all kinds of problems. I'm not happy with Firefox anymore and wish to remove it from my laptop . How do I do this? Sorry...I was once a happy camper. Barbara

My firefox app has recently stopped showing any synced tabs from my desktop at all after i open one of them. It will sync once briefly and I can open a single tab, but if I am trying to get multiple the sync page of the app is blank the second time I try.

I have had this issue happen before but usually it's just for a little while and fixes itself. It can be fixed by manually syncing both mobile and desktop simultaneously, but that requires me to be in front of both my phone and my home computer, defeating the point of being able to continue browsing at any time.

I have not been able to access my desktop tabs via my phone for almost a week now and it's getting extremely frustrating. I want to be able to leave my house and pull up what I was looking at on my computer without having to struggle for 10 minutes before leaving with ensuring the sync goes through.

When I manually sync on the mobile app, the sync button keeps spinning forever, I have let it run for about 25 minutes straight with no results. I have force closed the app to no luck. I have also tried closing and leaving it alone for hours and trying again with no results. This was not happening to me a week ago and I have not changed any settings on either device since the change started.
