I recently updated to 147.0.1, and now it seems I can no longer access word/excel/powerpoint files for online editing. I have already tried clearing cookies, disabling adblockers, disabling tracking protection, running in a private window, all the way down to completely reinstalling Firefox 147 fresh. This has persisted for roughly a week, so it does not seem to be an issue with my own network connection, nor with Microsoft's services, nor my files specifically since I can edit the files online from my PC at work. The error message specifically reads:

We can't connect to the server at usc-excel.officeapps.live.com (or usc-word-edit.officeapps.live.com or usc-powerpoint.officeapps.live.com, respectively).

I could previously access these files to edit when I was still on Firefox 146, so I'm guessing it's something going on with 147. Has anyone encountered similar issues with Web Office apps, and perhaps found a resolution?

I recently switched from Chrome to Firefox. Now when I try to login to a platform, my verification codes to my phone are coming through too slow. What is causing the delay?

В свой аккаунт где были сохранены вск мои пароли и заметки просто исчезли. Я не знаю что делать. Доступа к старому пк у меня нет. Я не понимаю почему браузер не хочет восстанавливать мои закладки и все сохраненные сайты.

I cannot log in Firefox account. It says I have to log out to log into my account. All I wanted to do is to remove a phone I reset and gave away from my Firefox device logins, but everything quit working with all the AI chaos.

I use the Microsoft Defender Security portal (security.microsoft.com) in the Firefox browser. In this portal, if you click on the "?" in the top right of the page, a flyout window opens and you should see support options on how to get help from Microsoft. On Firefox, I get an error that says "You do not have access to this experience. Please contact your admin to request help and submit a ticket". Microsoft has told me this issue is not a Microsoft issue since this only happens on Firefox and not any other browser. I am seeking help from any Firefox experts to figure out why I am getting this error in Firefox and how I can resolve this issue. I am running version 147.0.1 (64 bit) of Firefox.

I have 4 rows of links on my desktop. How can I set these so that every article I read or You Tube video I watch doesn't replace something I want to stay on my desktop?

When Windows 11 reboots, and Firefox is restarted, it opens a very tiny window in the upper right part of the computer screen. Why is this? I believe I reported this before but it still is not resolved.

I can't delete the malware "Startfenster. I tried to find help with "Google"-Search. Without any success! This malware exists for me in "Firefox" only. Other browsers are not affected. Perhaps anyone can help me... Thank's!

Several websites are not loading their content since yesterday. YouTube has a message "Try searching to get started" and even when I open a video, it won't play. X.com is not loading content in the pages. So far it's those two.

Firefox lost all my passwords and bookmarks, not in any of only 3 profiles. Now it won't enter new passwords and Mozilla/Firefox support not working. I don't know if this is even being entered

When I select a text and right-click, the option to translate by Firefox's native translation feature appears. The default target language for this seems to be the defined by locale; for my case, it's always Turkish. How do I choose a different target language to appear in the context menu? I cannot see an option for default target language in settings.

When there are many tabs open, the displayed tab line re-centers automatically obscuring the open tab. Is there a way to disable this mechanism, or to insist that the open tab is kept visible? The current mechanism that obscures the open tab is user unfriendly.

With this latest update - which I hate by the way - I LOST EVERYTHING THAT I HAD SAVED ON FIREFOX. Bookmarks, passwords, EVERYTHING is missing.

I'm beyond angry. Recreating things will take HOURS that I don't have.

If there is someway to recover what I had you can begin to get back in my good graces.

I run the current version of firefox on a Windows 11 Dell Inspiron Laptop. My bookmarks are here, but the tags have disappeared. This has happened once before, and it took several days to restore the tags. Why is this happening? How do I prevent it?

I have been using 1Password 7 to manage my login credentials. It includes a Firefox extension to fill in account names and passwords in login alerts and pages.

Firefox 147.0.1 (macOS aarch64) in January 2026 has broken 1Password 7's ability to fill in account names and passwords.

To reproduce: 1. Install 1Password 7 Version 7.9.11 (70911000) and its extension version 4.7.5.90 in Firefox 147.0.1 on macOS. 2. Visit a URL for which 1Password 7 has login credentials. 3. Click on the toolbar icon for 1Password 7. A 1Password 7 dialogue box pops down from the icon, containing the username and password for that URL. 4. Click the Autofill button in that dialogue box.

Observed behaviour: 1. Username and Password fields remain blank.

Expected behaviour: 1. Username and Password from 1Password 7 appear in the Username and Password fields.

For approximately the last three months, there was a partial failure similar to this. 1. 1Password 7 popdown dialogue moves from the toolbar icon to the Firefox tab for that URL. 2. Username and Password fields remain blank. 3. Workaround: click in the username field, then tab 2-4 times to further UI objects in the login credentials form. Then click the 1Password toolbar icon, then click the Autofill button in the popdown dialogue. Then, the Username and Password from 1Password 7 appear in the Username and Password fields.

The expected behaviour occurs for the same URLs in Safari.

Thus I suspect that Firefox has somehow changed its behaviour in the last few months to cause this regression. I have not changed the 1Password software versions in this time, because I am intentionally using a previous version of 1Password.

I am looking for a fix or workaround which works with my current 1Password software version. I am not interested in a solution which requires me to upgrade to the current version of 1Password. (The current version of 1Password imposes a feature which I am resisting.) I realise that this reduces the chance that I can persuade the Firefox team to find and correct this regression.
