Hi Firefox support,

I’m experiencing a persistent issue with Google Fonts (.woff2) on Windows 10. Only on some but not all pages whoch are using Google Font woff2: Fonts display correctly after starting Firefox, but as soon as I reload the pages with for the first time, they appear corrupted and remain broken. Private Browsing mode renders the fonts correctly, and Chrome does not have this problem.

Below is a detailed list of everything I’ve tried with ChatGPT so far to troubleshoot the issue.

(OS: latest Windows 10)

Browser: Firefox (freshly installed, no sync)

Behavior:

Steps already attempted:

Disabled all extensions

Tested in Firefox Safe Mode / Troubleshoot Mode

Created a new Firefox profile

Fresh Firefox installation without signing in

Deleted all relevant caches:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\storage

Verified / adjusted Firefox config in about:config:

WebRender running in WebRender (Software) mode

accessibility.force_disabled = 1

Disabled hardware acceleration for testing

Tested DirectWrite / Direct3D settings

Recalibrated ClearType

Ran sfc /scannow to repair system fonts

Temporarily disabled antivirus / web protection

Tested behavior in private mode versus normal mode

Observed that hard reload (Ctrl + F5) does not fix fonts

Noted that only .woff2 (Google Fonts) are affected; system fonts render normally

Summary:

Issue is not caused by extensions, profile, cache, or a fresh install

Private Browsing works → problem is related to persistent normal-mode caching or rendering

Only occurs in normal windows, consistently reproducible after first reload

Problem seems specific to .woff2 font handling and Firefox’s rendering pipeline on Windows 10

Over the last couple of months, Firefox has automatically added Favorites to my home screen. If I delete one of these another replaces it.

Where do I go to stop this?

When the Global Privacy Control request is checked (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/global-privacy-control?as=u&utm_source=inproduct) a persistent bubble appears at the bottom of the page indicating the request has been accepted. The bubble is annoying. Is there a way to continue to use this feature without the bubble appearing?

Why can't I go to saltlife.com when I've gone to this 333 times and ordered items from them for YEARS? Also, when I'm at Kohls.com, I cannot access a site, when shopping to access part of my shopping experience. Am I going to have to change my browser to be able to shop there? I have used Firefox for years, and up until now, I've never had this problem.

I reset basically everything to see if I could get it to stop predicting what site I wanted to go to and it still does it. Cleared the history, turned off syncing, closed tabs on other devices before I turned off syncing. I see on setting for autofill address bars etc. Mobile firefox settings are reduced it seems. I am on IOS if that matter. I don't know what else would be useful.

I clicked on a website that I did not recognised, and stupidly clicked 'allow' on the pop-up that appeared.

The website is "d6bimae071bc73d47f4g.lendexo.co.in"~

Despite having blocked this website from sending me notifcations, via the Mozilla Firefox settings page - they appear to continue.

The notifications propourt to be from McAfee, however, are coming from this website.

I use several devices with Firefox installed and I find that sync is not always "sync"-ing, or at least not very often. I can confirm I am logged-in the browsers. I do tend to leave my laptops in sleep mode and maybe sync is triggered only at browser closing? Whatever the case, I end up having bookmarks that I deleted from another machine still persisting on another for some reason or adding a bookmark on one laptop and not having it on another even hour later. Would you please take into account the option to sync at certain intervals like minutes, hours etc and let the user pick how often they want this?

I'm using Kubuntu 24.04. I saw it more than once. Firefox is frozen, no WiFi for example, and I have to kill it via terminal. After that it is not possible to retrieve the session (3 or 4 tab groups plus ~20 tabs)

При попытке демонстрировать экране (для совместного просмотра фильмов, например) с использованиием дискорд (веб версии) нет звука стрима. Проблема наблюдается **только** в браузере фаерфокс. В дискорде просто пропадает кнопка "поделиться звуком стрима/поделиться звуком системы" Никак не могу найти в настройках способ предоставления сайту доступа к звуку стрима/системы при демонстрации экрана. Может кто-то сталкивался с этой/схожей проблемой и у вас есть варианты решения?
