Don't like version 29.

no Favourites tool bar on left and look and feel has changed.

as the other that asked this was closed I will ask again . How do we revert to the old version or do we just leave fierfox for another provider?

The Bookmarks Sidebar is still there; the toolbar button to open / close it was removed.

The "Show Your Bookmarks" button to the right of the Address Bar has a menu item to open / close the Bookmarks Sidebar.

You can also use {Ctrl + B} from the keyboard.

Hey Nobby1961,

We spent a lot of time designing the new interface. In our user testing the majority of our users felt like it was a big improvement and it really streamlined the browser. Did you take the onboarding tour? Even though things have been moved around a little all the functionality is still there. I'd say you give the tour a shot to see if it addresses your issues.

That being said, we really care about all of our users and not just the majority vote ;) Firefox is SO CUSTOMIZABLE that if you really really want the old look back you can do it with one quick step. This article will walk you through the process!

Thanks Shame the button was removed but at least I can still get the sidebar

Matt, by the "one step", are you referring to the Classic Theme Restorer add-on? That did not work for me. All it did was square the tabs; my menus and bookmarks toolbar remained up where the title bar should be. --Eric
