I've updated FFx and its plug-ins, it opens in safe mode, i've run Malawarebytes too with 0 results. This did not happen yesterday, it started happening today the first time i opened FFx.

We don't know the cause of this crash yet. You said it opens in safe mode. Can you try starting in safe mode and then disabling your extensions so that when you restart Firefox they will still be disabled? After you do that, enable just one and restart. The idea is to try to find the one that may be causing the problem.

I did it already (was finding answers elsewhere) and it worked. It was the Java extension. Disabled it and it works just fine. Thanks!

This is happening to me today too. Out of thin air, when it starts and tries to go to Google by default. Crashes.

I guarantee this is happening to a lot of people.

I tried checking "Disable add ons" but this did not fix the problem, so how did the previous guy disable "Java extension" ???

Please help. Use this for work and can't run my business today...

A possible cause is a problem with the Olympic doodles that Google is currently using on its main search pages.
It is probably easiest to choose a different home page like about:home or use the search bar on the Navigation Toolbar to initiate the searches for now.
