Why do I get a printing error with Firefox Web pages but not IE pages?

When I try to print a web page in Firefox I get a "Printing Error" dialog box title with "An unknown error occurred while printing". I do not have this problem printing Internet Explorer 8 web pages. I have XP Home and an HP LaserJet P1006.
