Hi all...

How come there is no easy way to get old look of menu in Firefox (Windows)? I have older laptop with 1366×768 monitor resolution. And you know what? Every pixel count.

No one asked for more spacing between lines in menu. No one asked for bigger tabs on top of the screen. We need option to get old Firefox look back.

How easy? In a new tab, enter about:config, accept the risk and change this preference to true: browser.compactmode.show

Then right-click a toolbar and select "Customise toolbar". In the bottom bar select for 'Density' "Compact (not supported)".

Other than using userChrome.css, that's the best on offer.

In Firefox 93 and later releases support to reduce the bookmark menu spacing via "Density: Compact" on the Customize page has been added. Note that "Compact" is no longer present by default as a Density choice in Customize.

It's not good enough. Who asked for bigger spacing between lines in menus?

I agree.
