Every time I use Firefox, there's a problem or glitch auto scrolling on a Dell laptop. Whenever I scroll, the scroll indicator stays on the screen until I shutdown my computer. When I turn back on my computer, the indicator is gone until I start scrolling on Firefox again. It does not do this on Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Is there a way to fix this problem?

I have no glitch with scrolling so what addons or security software are you using?

I'm not using any addons and I have Norton Antivirus.

Scrolling is controlled by the mousepad driver. Did you check to see if something wasn't interfering with the driver.

I don't think it's the driver because it works fine for everything else. But how do I check on that just in case it is?

I updated Firefox earlier today and it's working fine now.
