Hello, our software is based on ShowModalDialog function and we are curious if this function is officialy available in version 53? I realised that the function exists and works very well when e10s mode is disabled, and I have to be sure if we can rely on this?

yeah, you've found that out :-D as it's an unsupported feature, any other change (beside requiring e10s) might be breaking it as well - so no guarantees for the future...

hi, this is deprecated in chrome and firefox - you shouldn't rely on it in any circumstance. e10s might become a mandatory configuration one day... https://www.fxsitecompat.com/en-CA/docs/2016/window-showmodaldialog-has-been-removed/

So, as I understand, the moment when e10s will be mandatory is approaching and ShowModalDialog will be completely banned, but exactly in 53 version is still available?
