After starting the browser, moving it or resizing it, and opening most dropdown menus (the awesomebar results, the search engines/suggestions window, and noscript's menu, for sure) render in the wrong place. See the photo in the link below. Happens in both safe mode and normal mode.

The picture looks like the browser window is pushed to the right. That might be the problem.

Not to criticise, but cell pictures leave much to be desired. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?q=screen+capture

I can't take any better pictures, because pressing keys or clicking elsewhere on screen closes the awesomebar results.

The placement of the awesomebar results is different every time. For instance, right now, typing in the address bar or clicking the down arrow does nothing—the results dropdown is rendered altogether off the screen.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

Yes, it also happens in safe mode.

Have you tried another GTK 3 Theme?

Firefox 46.0 and newer requires GTK 3.4 or preferably newer and as a result needs GTK 3 themes as GTK 2 themes will not work as it may look unthemed much like in your picture.

I tried switching to Mint-X, a GTK-3 theme, but that didn't fix it either.
