I have a problem in thunderbird but to solve it i need to change the jap language to english. I installed the quick locale switcher in thunder bird. But even when i change the flag(language to english in bottom right ) it doesnt do nothing just stays as it is. I also saw that only japanese language was highlighted in Golden color. Any help on how to activate the addon. I really need it. Its already been a week.

just a guess, but do you have any language packs installed to switch to? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/language-tools/
