I use the latest editions of FireFox x64 137.0.1 and Windows Server 2016 Standard updated. Variable fonts on any websites are displayed incorrectly, the layout.css.font-variations.enabled setting is blocked and set to false. The popular ideas offered by AI did not help. Is there way to fix it?

Can't use YT picture in picture mode on Firefox when logged into my YT account. When I enable picture in picture on a video and scroll down to the comments, picture in picture mode turns off as soon as I scroll past the bottom of the video.

Happens only when I'm logged into my YT account on Firefox. Logout, it works. Logged in on Edge, it works. Logged into my second YT account on Firefox, it works. Only doesn't work for this one account.

I am a student and often use Canvas to do assignments. Lately when I am trying to open a textbox on Canvas on either a discussion board or on an assignment I get sent to a page that says something broke on discussion boards or the textbox is simply not there on assignments.

I have cleared my browser cache and it did not fix the issue so I instead tried another browser and it works normally over there. I am really not sure what the issue is so any help would be appreciated!

My Macbook pro auto updated firefox to 136.0.2 (aarch64). Now I do not have the option to always turn on the scroll bar. I used to have this by going to settings > general > browsing, and there'd be an option saying "always show scrollbars". In this edition, it is gone. How do I now enable always having my scrollbar on so I can see it?

I use Pocket on my MacBook Air 2017 MACOS Monterey 12.7.6, and used it daily for years. I cannot access Pocket just now so cannot give you any data about its version. Below is a screenshot of the Firefox version that I just loaded yesterday but which is also refusing to load any link, incl. Pocket. No error message now; yesterday when Firefox refused to load anything, a message saying "Not Secure" showed up atop my screen left of the link I was attempting; it showed up for every link I tried, but is no longer showing up at all, though Firefox continues to be unable to load any link. Second screenshot below is my current attempt to load 2 links plus Pocket, a video of it would show all 3 loading attempts on the screenshot having the little dot moving back and forth side-to-side but never loading. Facebook has started scrolling down instead of up when typing a comment on the past month or so. Turning off adblock seens to temporarily fix it, but the it starts doing it again and turning ON adblock then seems to fix it and then it goes bad yet again.

Erasing cookies made no difference. This only happens in Android Mobile Firefox, not desktop Firefox. It only started happening in the past month or so.

Chrome does not have this issue at all, but then Chrome can't use Adblock or UBlock Origin either so it's a poor experience either way.

I posted this back in February and never got any replies, so lets try again.  :-)

OS: Xubuntu 24.04.2 Firefox: All version for quite a long time up through version 137.01

In general I have no problem with direct URLs loaded into Firefox, whether from local links or from remote sites.

However, sometimes, possibly as a result of an embedded link in an email, or from a site that pops-up a new instance of the default browser (i.e., Firefox), the URL is mangled with a local filesystem path prepended to the proper URL. The path seems to be one that Firefox accessed in the recent past. For example, a path such as: /usr/local/bin

When clicking on the link, the browser starts up with the URL field showing: /usr/local/binhttps://.........

I then have to delete the leading path component before I can access the URL. I'd include a test case if I could find something repeatable that I could post here, but at the moment I don't have one.

Any ideas why this is happening and any suggestions for a way to stop Firefox from prepending the local filesystem path?

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1810514 This issue being open for 2 years+ and still the issue not being fixed is absolutely laughable Considering many videos i see on YouTube about a day in a life of software developer.. they do absolutely nothing.. 90% time they eating, playing and sleeping.. 10% time checking emails or laptop(please dont take it for a software developer who works hard everyday) That's it thats what you guys get paid for ? thats why firefox is firefox.. their dev team is absolute trash at addressing issues fast or at a acceptable time.. i guess thats how most tech companies are and its the new norm
