Chrome user returning to Firefox here; I'm experiencing an issue where most pages would take at least 4 to 6 seconds to load, especially for heavy media sites like YouTube which could take 6 seconds for it to be barely usable, and 10 or 13 seconds for it to finish loading. My internet speed is 1gb at most and 800 Mbps at the least.

It loads sites like Reddit pretty fast, like 3-5 seconds interestingly. It's largely YouTube and other sites where the pages load infuriatingly slowly, and Chrome Mask did not helped with this.

Here are the things I did: Refreshed Firefox, started in Troubleshoot mode, installed Chrome Mask for YouTube (Did not work), disabled DNS, closed all foreground apps except Firefox, used a different profile and enabled/disabled hardware acceleration.

Specs: CPU: i5-3570k GPU: GTX 1070 Ti RAM: 16gb DDR3 OS: Windows 10 Hard Drive type: SSD

Final notes, it says I use Microsoft Defender Antivirus but I am actually using Malwarebytes. I also use uBlock Origin which is the entire reason why I permanently switched from Chrome to Firefox.

how do I fix column back to its original. I mistakly renlarge it.

on the very top of the page right side there are three images that refer to the page. it usually show one box now it shows two. I want to go back to one.

I have no idea who is going to read this, but I was in my Cell Phone companies’ site today and got an error message that Firefox would not show the bill details. Some stupid thing about other web sites and sealing my information. I needed that page and could not see so I had to use another browser (not Chrome or Edge) to get the bill to display.

I then had a coupon to print from an e-mail from my Pharmacy. Again you gave an error message but did download the coupon to where I save things.

I do not want to use Chrome or Edge as they track the S**t out of you. I have another that is laid out like Chrome but supposedly isn’t and I use that. I have to pay for that one. The main thing these browsers don’t have is the Menu Bar at the top and you cannot put it on. I use that to free up screen space that is lost the way they do things.

Can you PLEASE get things right in Firefox so I don’t have to waste my time or worse have to use this other browser I hate.

What in the actual hell is going on? Since when did this become a problem? Website ends with .to instead of .com but this has literally never caused me any problems on this machine and I've been using the same extensions/add-ons since I bought it. It's been at least 3-4 years. Windows 11 24H2 (latest update) Firefox Version 140.0.2 (latest update) No settings have been changed, aside from my updating the browser and/or my operating system. Please help.

Ever since the most recent firefox update, my screensaver doesn't appear after laptop has been idle. According to the Mac Activity monitor, Firefox is blocking it. I've tried quitting Firefox and restarting, and also restarting laptop, but no solution.

For about a week now, every time I try to share something to a friend of family member - all I get is the rotating circle in the messenger window that pops up. If I cut-n-paste the URL to the thing I want to share, it works fine in messenger......

When assigning a URL to the mediaplayer object it started appending the current path to the URL. Did not do that in prior version. You can see it automatically puts the current browsing URL and then the URL that is assigned. So the file will not load. When opening Firefox, the screen turns white before page opens! There is a version that was updated for this issue however,at that time I did not have this issue! After downloading the newer version, I now have this white light issue! I like to mention, my computer never crashed! I believe (134.0.3), was the update that was a fix for the White Screen problem. And, I am using ver-139.0.4 (64 bit) (win. 10-64 bit) I appreciate any help with this issue! Thank you!!! geo (7/6/2025)

latest versions of firefox (now at 140.0.1) keeps opening onto my 2nd monitor which is off - how to stop it doing it. Tried making new profile which works for awhile, but sooner or later they all bump it to the 2nd monitor and it never comes back - tried moving to primary and closing it there, but next time back on #2. Open 2nd window while first is on primary, and that goes to 2nd monitor...

When I try to launch firefox, it opens only on the taskbar for a split second and doesn't launch. I don't see the program appear at all on task manager. I've restarted my computer and reinstalled multiple times. This problem persist across multiple computers

I had not used the Firefox browser in a few days, so when I went back in today it asked me to update it. I did, and now every page I go to freezes and the browser locks up. Is there some way to get rid of this latest update? I have Windows 11.

I've been using tab grouping and it is really helpful.

But this morning when I created a new tab group called "MISC" I was unable to add any tabs to it.

1. I noticed that this new group happens to be the 11th group I've created. So I'm guessing that there may be a limit of ten groups. Am I right?

2. And now, some hours later, I see that the new MISC group does appear on my tab bar, but one of my old groups, TECH, has disappeared, but its contents seem to have been added to the MISC group.

Since Mozilla made Firefox Beta's update (B141.05), a few days ago, most fonts (.ttf's) and icons (.ico's) are matching the same color as the background (.bmp's) of the pages. Who else has noticed so? This does not help any user on any system. Connect.Mozilla.org - Who Agrees that Most Fonts are Camouflage to Websites?
