I have albinism. Pure white backgrounds are not an annoyance – they cause physical eye pain and trigger migraines. Every time I visit support.mozilla.org or accounts.firefox.com, I am forced to endure #FFFFFF with no way to change it.

To anyone about to defend Mozilla blindly: this is about accessibility and eye pain, not brand loyalty, so do not silence me.

What Mozilla has done:

• Disabled extensions (Dark Reader, Stylus, Dark Mode) from modifying these pages – they are explicitly blocked by Mozilla's own Content Security Policy.
• Removed ui.systemUsesDarkTheme and layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override from having any effect on these sites – they ignore prefers-color-scheme entirely.
• Left no about:config toggle to disable the forced light theme.

The only remaining workaround is a userContent.css hack with filter: invert(1) – which requires a visually impaired user to manually edit CSS files and restart the browser. That is not accessibility – that is hostility.

Security excuse – debunked:

• "We block extensions for security" – extensions are sandboxed. Blocking them on your own support pages is a deliberate policy choice, not a technical necessity.
• "We want a consistent brand appearance" – branding does not override accessibility. Forcing #FFFFFF on users with light sensitivity is a violation of basic inclusive design.
• "We respect prefers-color-scheme" – you do not. These two domains explicitly override it.
• "Users can just use Dark Reader" – you block it.

What I demand:

Make support.mozilla.org and accounts.firefox.com respect the system prefers-color-scheme media query. If you insist on light branding, add an official dark toggle in the site header – stored in a cookie or account preference. Stop blocking extensions from applying user‑chosen themes to your own sites. That is not security; it is control. You are a non‑profit that claims to value accessibility and user control. Your actions say otherwise. Fix these two domains. No CSS hacking should be required for basic vision safety.

High contrast setting only support 2 colors(unvisited links and visited links) as a consequence it does not support radio buttons(switches that move to left and right to turn on features). the buttons are invisible and waste hours of the users time.

The new Pop Up in Firefox that asks me to choose how to open the link I want tosend to share with a relative, or a friend is driving me crazy. I'm 82 years old, I'm legally blind now and this new POP UP has to be disabled or eliminated somehow. I've searched instructions on YouTube and triedd under Privacy & Security, Permissions and disabled PopUps BUT The new Pop Up in Firefox is till functioning. Please may I give you permissiontoremove it in my account!!!! Please could you do thatforme because I'vetried every suggesion ad I can'tseemto disableit or removeit. I downloaded and installed the latest version of Firefox. Every email link in my mail.com email.com account now fails with this message: Error Code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG No Firefox setting changes are helping, but if I forward that and other emails with a link to another mail account I have, they links work perfectly fine. So I ave to conclude it is a Firefox issue, but I don;t understand how to fix it. Can anyone advise me, please? [redacted] @writeme.com

I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED, BUT I THINK SINCE 151 THE CC ON YOUTUBE NO LONGER RENDERS CORRECTLY. THE FONT WILL NOT SHOW UP WHITE NO MATTER HOW YOU TOGGLE AND ADJUST THE SETTINGS ON YOUTUBE. THE STOCK SETTINGS WILL SHOW GREY FONTS MAKING IT VERY HARD FOR CC USERS TO READ.

CHROME DOESN'T HAVE THIS PROBLEM AND THE FONTS SHOW PROPERLY WHITE.

In Windows 10, FIREFOX is preventing the proper operation of the Windows 10 feature called MOUSE KEYS when FIREFOX is operating. MOUSE KEYS is a very important capability to individuals with certain disabilities.

MOUSE KEYS enables the use of the numbered keys on the NUMERIC KEYPAD to be used to move the cursor around when the NUM LOCK key is turned ON, as a substitute for using a mouse. Does Mozilla have a way to prevent FIREFOX from defeating this MOUSE KEYS feature?

Google AI indicated that there is a solution specifically for FIREFOX. That capability is built into FIREFOX and begins by using "about:config" to reset a parameter named "permissions.default.shortcuts" from either "0" or "1" to "2". I successfully implemented the steps in this solution by changing that value from its default value of "0" in my computer system, to "2", but no change resulted. MOUSE KEYS continued to malfunction in the same way.

After exhaustive testing looking for a pattern, I finally found one. The malfunction appears to be the following: With the MOUSE KEYS feature activated in the WINDOWS 10 set up, and with NUM LOCK turned ON to assure that this function is ON, each of the numeric keys, 0 through 9 on the keypad, cycles through the different MOUSE KEYS functions of all ten of these keys, in ascending order by their number. For example, if you press key 7 for ten times in a row, it will cycle through each of the ten MOUSE KEYS functions associated with the keys 0-9 to occur, returning on the tenth press to the function that was executed the first time that key 7 was pressed, and so one endlessly through multiple cycles. And similarly for each of the other ten numbered keys.

A similar type of malfunction of MOUSE KEYS occurs with any BROWSER program that I have tried, including GOOGLE CHROME and BRAVE. I gather from GOOGLE AI that browser programs INTERCEPT the codes generated by the numeric keys on the numeric key pad and change those codes before sending the codes to the WINDOWS 10 operating system, and thus to MOUSE KEYS, for execution, causing this problem.

Is there a solution for FIREFOX what will restore the proper function of the MOUSE KEYS feature of Windows 10, when FIREFOX is being used? Thank you for any help that you can provide.

Hello, In FF 152.0.5 (aarch64) on macOS 26.5.2, I am noticing that every website that has a checkbox in a form does not work the way it should. The only indication that the box is checked is a slight "highlight" around the edge of the box, nothing actually in the box. See attached screenshot from the USPS website.

Also, the NO checkbox wasn't even visible until I clicked the area next to it. It was just blank.

I've seen this for set-up pages for WordPress plugins and on standard contact forms (using CF7 plugin) where the checkboxes so very little or no interaction to the user at all.

Grant it, I know now what to look for and how to use these. But any standard user is going to be absolutely confused by this unintended (I Hope) browser behavior.

I am having trouble getting to 2 sites. When I try to access my bank I get a "this site blocked" message. when I try to access dteenergy.com I get a " server not available" message. If I turn VPN off I can get to both sites. If I turn VPN off I can get to both sites.
