Have to keep pressing keys periodically when streaming video in a Firefox tab to prevent the screen going dark. The Ubuntu Mate Power Management settings have all been configured to prevent the System from doing so, so I'm wondering if this has something to do with Firefox. As a caregiver for a disabled person otherwise without television access I would find this very helpful.

Hi, I'm a very fan user of Firefox from the beginning.

I used to have all my password on it but I lost most of my ID's and I had a copy, but my passwords are still on your servers... it's not the problem but I'm curious if there is a solution to erase it.

Whatever, I'm on firefox android, which has save all my password and I only can delete one by one... that's wired, and I can't find solution, could you help me ?

Mail coming from Gmail. Some messages don't put an entry in Inbox but show in All Mail. The only thing that seems to be in common is that the ones that seem to be doing this are both from Lawyers! And they use the "hated" threads. (probably some legal thing)

im trying to log into my thunderbird account on my macbook but having issues with it. its asking me for a server? i have it on my cell phone and linkked to my email already, so i dont understand what the issue, can you help? im trying to set up my Mark37 ghost phone by using nextcloud/ the good cloud. and one of the steps is to get my email linked to thunderbird. So thius is where im stuck.

I'm sending this from my phone. My desktop FF (Win 10) suddenly displayed a black wireless globe type icon called Prox-Media pinned to my taskbar. I can't find the app on my system, though, but the full path leads it to a firefox.exe file. Before my brain kicked in, I'd clicked on the icon right after noticing it, and Firefox came up with the attached error message displayed.

"Prox-Media" comes up nowhere in my searches - not as legit, not as a virus - just no results. Can you help?

I have a paid AVG account and I ran a deep scan but it found nothing.

I have been using Thunderbird with two POP3 Hotmail accounts for some time and I am trying to set up a third account with exactly the same configuration. However, both the automatic and the manual configurations failed. The new account receives mail, but the outgoing smtp server config seems to have a problem. Sending messages times out or keeps prompting for a new password.

The Hotmail account has POP3 and IMAP enabled. Thunderbird is set to receive all cookies. I cleared history and cache after every attempt and also temporarily disabled the firewall.

Any suggestions about what the problem could be?

I have three outlook.com email accounts configured. Two accounts open to show all subscribed folders. One account shows the account name only, but no folders.

Activity manager shows: "The current operation on 'Outbox' did not succeed. The mail server for account wasaga72@outlook.com responded: Command Error. 12"

Sometimes all folders show. Sometimes all folders show after a delay.

Tried: 1 deleting all .msf files. 2 removing and re-adding the account

My wife and I both have identical Laptops with the same three outlook.com accounts. Mine using version 148.0.1 (64-bit), hers using 140.8.0 esr (64-bit) both have the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated,

I am trying to add a Gmail account to Thunderbird. After clicking Continue from the configuration window, the system shows a 'Waiting for authorisation in login popup' window with a rotating circle, which eventually finishes and the window says 'Authentication error. Unable to log in at server. . . .'. As I understand it, the login popup window should be from Google asking me to confirm that it is OK for Thunderbird to connect to the Gmail server. It looks like that Google popup is being blocked. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get the Google permission popup to appear?

I get a pop up that says “Login to server imap.comcast.net with user name actuary@comcast.net failed.” There are three buttons “Retry”. “Enter New Password” and “Cancel”. None help. Supposedly Xfinity is moving its email op to Yahoo but I want to stay with Thunderbird which I have been using for over ten years. I haven’t received email on my ThinkPad for a week but I do get it on my iPad.

bold textI don't know enough about settings/conflicts to resolve this. I had no problems for years, but this has been an issue for the past six months. AT&T has tried to help, but it just won't work. I have had this email address for almost 40 years, and I really don't want to give it up.

I keep getting these error messages on some websites I frequently visited in the past. I didn't change anything in Firefox. I can go to Costco's home page but in searching or clicking on an item I get this message "Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.costco.com/laptops.html" on this server. I really REALLY don't like tab buttons

How can I make sure they NEVER come back ?

I have tried the violentmonkey script, doesn't work, I have it right now and look, there are TWO tab buttons on my tab !

I had 11031 tabs open. I decided to save all of them because my browser was getting slow.

Just running "select all" was taking minutes, and resizing the window was very very sluggish.

So I selected them all

then I added them to a bookmark folder

Then I went in the toolbar where that bookmark folder was created, and I middle-clicked on it to open all tabs again.

And then the warning "you are about to open X tabs" appears

And the problem is that the number is 8571 not the 11031

Why is firefox losing 2460 of my tabs ?

Also, bookmarking all the tabs, took 4 seconds, while selecting all tabs too minutes. I think the "select all" function could do well to have some optimization as it starts getting slow with as few as 1000 tabs. And

The Font list on my Thunderbird email appears to have been completely replaced after I updated my apple macOS to 26.3.1. I have lost familiar fonts like Bookman Old Style and Century Schoolbook but have a very long list of fonts headed Noto. How do I get the original list back?

I'm trying to list future events in the T-bird Calendar without including my numerous daily reminders (mostly when I'm supposed to take my meds). Is there a way to suppress their inclusion? Or is there a way to enter daily events as a separate class that won't show up in the standard future events list? Thank you.
