Some add-on or other software included with the "game" you installed might have "hijacked" your Firefox home page. I take it you tried resetting your home page? Ref: How to set the home page

when this happened before i had to manually reset the page. i think i used the help disable addons and then i think i went to tools but i forgot where i went then. i have done all that your suggesetd. but it did not work
