no information popup with question
There seems to be an issue in 9.0. When I try to log out of my website, there is a window that normally pops up asking me if I am sure I want to log out. Now in 9 that window does not appear, just the text, and on a page with TEXT it makes it impossible to see. The OK, and CANCEL buttons do appear though. Even the popups within 9.0 when asking to save passwords and such are stuck to the top of the browser bar. I do not have the box ticked to block popups at all. On the toolbars, I have the add-on bar on, and I have the status bar on the bottom. There are several sites that I use which have popups asking for confirmation on actions, so this is going to be a HUGE issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Old versions of Firefox opened alerts in "modal" dialog boxes that froze the browser and prevented you from switching to other tabs or windows. New versions of Firefox use "non-modal" alert boxes so that web pages can no longer freeze your whole browser. This change is mentioned in this article:

However, if you would like to go back to the old style of modal dialog boxes, you can type "about:config" in the Firefox location bar (more detailed instructions), then search for "prompts.tab_modal.enabled", then double-click on that preference to change its value from "true" to "false".

Thanks so much. That did the trick.
