On any websites -- even those of Mozilla org - I only get blue headlines (because links), black text, and fuzzy pix. No colours, no nothing, in fact some kind of 1975 brower experience. When I look at Mozilla org pages in Google Chome they are full of colours and graphics etc. It must have to do with settings somewhere, I have view/style/basic style and I did check that page CSS gets preference...but it dioes bot. Now, I am doing fine using Chrome but as I make websites I would like to see how they render in FF (and IE and Safari etc), all of them are fine but Firefox...............

Thanks for the tip, but I had already done that. I also upgraded the driver for my graphical card. On my Apple Macbook Air FF renders fine, but on my Windows 7, 32-bit, HP Pavilion Slimline is its slim pickings..

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Windows Accessibility settings.

Thanks. In the end the problem was in Windows 7 because I had a classic Windows theme and not a Windows 7 theme.......Go figure, but that was the rotten apple in the fruit cart. It works fine now, phew.
