I just upgraded to Mac OSX Lion and FF locks up when I go to check out upon attempting to buy something on AA.com and Overstock.com. I haven't tried others to see if it is the same on other sites.
Every time I have attempted to buy tickets on AA.com or buy anything on overstock.com when I get to the final button to confirm my purchase I get the pinwheel of death on my 2009 MacBook Pro that I upgraded to Mac OSX Lion. I have to Force Quit FF every time and use Safari instead which I despise.

I'm having the same problem...Firefox essentially unusable with OSX Lion. It freezes up on numerous applications and has to be repeatedly closed by Force Quit. I have had to switch to Safari while waiting for a fix.
Firefox has been so unstable on my macbook pro ever since they started doing regular updates. I believe it started having problems for me at FF 4. Even Safari is giving me a headache. Chrome is the only browser stable on OSLion for me. It seems to crash every time I visit FullSpike.com or Espn.com . I've contacted Mozilla and the sites but no response from either side. I really love FF, and I hope I don't end up being stuck with Chrome.
