When running an application from FireFox, which renders a PDF report, the first time it works fine. If I rerun the application with different parameters, the report rendered is identical to the first report - ie. the new report params are not being picked up. If I close FireFox down and start up again, then run with application with the new parameters, the report renders fine.

Hello Elise.

This may be caused because the rendered PDF is loaded from cache rather than from the server, or because it's not re-rendered at all. Have you tried reloading the page?

Thanks Morbus, but no, refreshing [reloading] doesn't help. But if I close down all PDFs and then re-run, it then works. The trouble is that I often want to compare old/new PDF outputs, and the only way to do this now is to save the first PDF, close the PDF then run the second PDF ... a bit time consuming. It was easier when I could have multiple PDFs open.

You may need to contact Adobe for support on that one, since Firefox doesn't read PDFs by default: it uses a plugin for that. If you're using Adobe Reader, contact Adobe. Otherwise, contact the author of the plugin.

Still, you should be able to open multiple tabs with the same file... Have you tried doing that?
