downloaded kidzui it wudnt let me enter the @ symbol uninstalled and it removed my access to the wireless modem, had to re-install, weird
installed KIDZUI had to uninstall cos it wudnt let me enter the @ symbol for the internet adress all i got was the " instead so uninstalled then couldnt access the modem till i re-installed, anyone else encountered this, seems like either a bug or a virus

What sort of internet addresses use the @ symbol? That's part of an email address.

You should make sure that you have done all the most recent Windows updates. This may help alleviate the issue.
It is possible that you accidentally switched the keyboard layout. Make sure that you have the Language bar visible on the Windows Taskbar. You can do that via the right-click context menu of the Taskbar: Toolbars > Language Bar. You can check the keyboard language (keyboard layout) setting for the application that has focus via the icon on the Language bar, so you need to do that while Firefox has focus. Windows remembers that setting per application and the default is a key combination (Ctrl+Shift or Alt+Shift) that you can easily use in Firefox to activate a menu item.
