Moving block of files to different folder, all arrived empty with 1969 31 Dec 7pm date.
I was moving files from same sender as a block to a folder for that name. Did it multiple times before. This time it took an inordinate amount of time for 24 files. Then finally all 24 were blank and all had the same date, 1969 31 Dec 7pm. I have done nothing since.
Can I recover those files?

you could try Ctrl+Z to undo, but given the elapsed time I am not confident.
Thanks. Tried that. No go. But by now it won't work as I had to reboot the PC cold for other reasons.
