It seems that pop up notification only show up when thunderbird is NOT minimized, when minimized I get sound , but not the popup. Seems very backwards to me . A popup is much more valuable when the thunderbird is minimized and barely useful when not minimized. this is on win10 , thunderbird version 78.8.1
