On one of the Windows 10 systems it only shows "BING" as the default search engine (which I do not want)...on the other Windows 10 system it shows "NORTON SAFE SEARCH" as the default search engine, which when I enter any search criteria it defaults to an "ASK" result with a green check mark next the search identifying the search was safe. I want the NORTON SAFE SEARCH on both systems, but I've tried nearly everything to get it search engine back to no avail. Both systems FIREFOX configurations should be the same. Please advise.

Hi Dandy_Don,

If you have the latest version of Firefox on one of the machine, I found that NORTON SAFE SEARCH is not compatible with Firefox Quantum ( last update for NORTON SAFE SEARCH from 2 years ago ). I linked an image. Could you check your version and tell me if that's it.

Regards

Norton Safe Search is provided by Norton. I'd suggest contacting them if you'd like help setting it up. However, Norton Safe Search provides no security benefits that the built in Firefox search doesn't already have, so there's no reason to have it.

I had to go to the Norton Safe Search website and download the extension...it loaded correctly into Firefox but when it did it also overrode my Home Page; instead of disabling the extension to not override the Home Page, I opened another Firefox tab under the URL of my wanted Home Page and it prompted me to drag it onto the first page tab at the Home Icon and it overrode the Norton Home Page. I'm now in business and when I do a search it goes to ASK. com like it should and gives me the safe or not safe icons.
