Thunderbird 45.2 cannot connect to Gmail or Yahoo using IMAP
I have an existing account on Gmail. IMAP is enabled in gmail settings. I tried enabling less secure apps I tried generating App password.
Same with Yahoo!

Thunderbird 45.2 cannot connect to Gmail
Please explain that in more detail. Do you get any error message?
Please post your Troubleshooting Information.
At the top right of the Thunderbird window, click the menu button 
, then select Help > Troubleshooting Information.
Press the Copy text to clipboard button and paste the information into your reply.
