안전 모드는 Firefox에 나타나는 여러 가지 문제점을 해결하기 위한 특별한 실행 방법입니다. 안전모드에서는 모든 부가 기능이 실행되지 않기 때문에 문제점 여부를 확인할 수 있습니다. 일반 모드와 안전 모드 사이의 문제 여부를 확인하여 진단을 할 수 있습니다.

주의 윈두우 사용자는 Firefox 안전 모드가 윈도우의 안전 모드와 같지 않다는 점을 유의하시기 바랍니다.

Firefox 안전 모드 실행하기

메뉴 버튼을 Fx89menuButton 클릭하고, 도움말을 클릭한 후 문제 해결 모드…를 선택하고 Firefox를 문제 해결 모드로 다시 시작하시겠습니까? 대화상자에서 다시 시작을 클릭하세요.
노트: Firefox를 시작하는 동안Shift 키를 길게 눌러 Firefox를 시작하는 동안option 키를 길게 눌러Firefox를 종료하고 Terminal에서 firefox -safe-mode를 실행하여 문제 해결 모드로 시작할수도 있습니다.
Firefox 설치 경로를 지정해야 할 수도 있습니다(예, /usr/lib/firefox)
메뉴 버튼을 Fx57menu 클릭하고, 도움말을 클릭한 후 부가 기능을 끄고 다시 시작…을 선택하고 부가 기능을 끄고 다시 시작 대화상자에서 다시 시작을 클릭하세요.

안전 모드 실행 창

여러분은 세 가지 시작 방법이 있습니다. You now have three options:

  • 취소 버튼을 누르면 안전 모드 사용이 취소 됩니다.
  • 안전 모드로 계속 버튼을 누르면 Firefox는 안전 모드로 실행되고 확장 기능 및 테마를 사용할 수 없습니다. 또한, 이전에 한 도구 모음 설정이 초기 상태로 돌아갑니다. 설정은 영구적이지 않고 일반 모드로 실행하면 예전 설정을 그대로 이용할 수 있습니다.
  • 변경 저장 후 재시작 버튼을 누르면 체크한 것만 실행 됩니다.
주의: 아래 사항은 다시 복구할 수 없습니다.

각 설정은 아래와 같은 의미를 가집니다:

  • Disable all add-ons: If you select this box and then click Make Changes and Restart then Firefox will start back up in its normal mode, except all your extensions and themes (but not plugins) will be disabled (not uninstalled).
  • Reset toolbars and controls: If you select this box and then click Make Changes and Restart then Firefox will start back up in its normal mode, except any toolbar customizations you have made will be lost, such as position of buttons and toolbars.
  • Reset bookmarks to Firefox defaults: If you select this box and then click Make Changes and Restart then Firefox will delete your current bookmarks and replace them with its default set.
  • Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults: If you select this box and then click Make Changes and Restart then any changes you have made to Firefox's options will be set back to their default settings.
  • Restore default search engines: If you select this box and then click Make Changes and Restart then any of the default search engines you deleted will be restored.

  • Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults: If you select this box and then click Make Changes and Restart then any changes you have made to Firefox's options will be set back to their default settings.
  • Restore default search engines: If you select this box and then click Make Changes and Restart then any of the default search engines you deleted will be restored.

Exiting Safe Mode
