i dont have the option for google in my search bar like i did every other time i had firefox, and i cant find any way to put it there at all.
the little search bar on the top right, ever since i was little it always came with google either as default or as an option, and this time, i install windows 7, get firefox, and then theres no google icon as an option, its been a slight neusance. and ive been trying to figure out how the hell im supposed to get it there, ive tried everything.

Similar thread: Only Yahoo and Bing appear in the search box and the Search engine manager only shows them too.
You can check the following folder to make sure the google.xml plugin is included in your installation of Firefox:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins
If it's there, but it doesn't appear in the search box, there could be a corrupted file in your settings folder (AKA your Firefox profile folder). If it's missing, then you might consider reinstalling Firefox over you existing installation to fill in the gaps.
I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong in that process. See Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)

You can try to delete search.sqlite and search.json in the Firefox Profile Folder to reset the search engines.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
ill just try to reinstall it, i checked both program files folders and dont see Mozilla Firefox or anything like it anywhere, i know it should be there, but i just dont see it.
