When a QuickTime movie plays in Firefox can the background colour of Firefox be changed from white to black?

When I download a QuickTime movie file (with the ".mov" extension) in Firefox 3.6.12, the movie file plays with a white background in Firefox. Is there any way to change the background colour to black (as it is in both Safari and Chrome)? The plug-in functions perfectly. I'm just wondering about changing the background colour in Firefox when the movie file plays.
