I am unable to get into my Thunderbird email. I keep getting this error message:

error: platform version '91.7.0' is not compatible with minVersion > = 91.8.0 maxVersion < 91.8.0

I am able to get my email from my phone, but I have many very important emails in saved folders on Thunderbird that I need to get to.

I thought maybe I need to download Thunderbird again, but I am afraid I will lose all my saved emails. Is this correct?

Please advise.

Thank you!

Yes, download the full installer from https://www.thunderbird.net/ and run it.

No, profile files are stored separately from the Thunderbird program files. The program files are static and do not change (except when you upgrade the Thunderbird application version). Because we store profile and program files separately, you can uninstall or re-install Thunderbird without losing your messages and settings, and if something goes wrong with a Thunderbird update your information will still be available.

I have the same issue starting Tbird on my laptop.

A few days ago it updated automatically and I started getting the message.

I downloaded a complete package 20 minutes ago and still get the error while starting Tbird.
